Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The 12.07 acres is currently used commercially with a maintenance building and parking lot located on the west side of the parcel and vacant land with an unpaved drive dissecting the east side of the parcel. The parcel was utilized in the past for the operation of Concrete Central, a commercial supplier of concrete related products, and the Hammersmith Equipment Company, a commercial equipment rental business. Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments were done in 2008 when the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians purchased this property. The analytical results of the soil samples collected on the subject property did not detect concentrations exceeding the MDEQ Generic Residential Clean Up Criteria, thus the subject property was found to not be a �facility� as defined under Part 201 and no additional assessment was recommended.
