Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Bartonville Store was previously owned by Mr. James Price, owner/operator, who operated a fuel station from 1985 to 2013. The Site was in the TCEQ LPST remediation program as No. 104098 for USTs on the southeastern portion of the site. The Site is not occupied. The Site is developed with a single-story wood- building. Concrete and asphalt pavement are to the east and north of the building and the current UST fuel systems are located east of the building. Historically, the former Bartonville Food Store occupied the south end of the building, and the north end was unoccupied office space. The north end appears to have been a later addition to the original store building. The review of historical records indicates the Site was developed as early as 1942 with a building structure located in the southeast quadrant of the Site. Most of the remainder of the Site is covered in crushed rock with grass along the northern and western edges of the Site. A sign in the window of the now-closed Bartonville Food Store indicates the food store was in business at this location from at least May 30, 1959 to February 15, 2013. The vacant office portion of the building indicates the most recent occupant was Drew Walling Custom Homes. Historical references indicate the space may have been previously occupied by the Town of Bartonville Water Department. In 2014, the UST fuel system comprised an approximate 900 square foot island canopy, three gasoline fuel dispensers, one diesel dispenser, two 6,000-gallon gasoline USTs, and one 6,000-gallon diesel UST.
