Additional Property Attributes

Petroleum contamination in soil and groundwater was shown to increase up-gradient of the site during assessment of releases from underground storage tank (UST) systems. Further investigation identified a historic spill from former above-ground storage tank (AST) systems.

Former Use: The source of the gasoline contamination in the south-southeastern portion of the site was associated with a spill from the AST system that occurred in the 1980s. The vertical and areal extent of that contamination has not been determined. Marion County took ownership of the site through foreclosure.
