Additional Property Attributes

The subject property consists of two rectangular shaped parcels totaling 1.4 acres of land. There is one single-story, 952 square foot vacant building, with basement, located on the property. The prospective purchaser and developer plans to construct a 3-story, $1,200,000 mixed-use development on the property located in downtown Mason, directly adjacent to the Ingham County Courthouse. This infill project includes significant renovation of the existing single-story, blighted/obsolete building and new construction doubling the existing buildings footprint, and then the construction of 2 additional floors. The existing building will be a seamless component of the new structure. At this time the project envisions a restaurant on the first floor and 6 apartments with individual garage bays, greatly enhancing downtown Masons building stock.

Former Use: The 952 square foot building was constructed in 1920 and is currently vacant. Past use of the property includes general office/commercial use for much of the memorable past.
