Additional Property Attributes

Based on a Phase I ESA completed in March 2016: Property consists of five parcels that contain the remnants of two auto sales/service facilities, as well as various historical commercial/industrial uses. Existing petroleum impacts have been documented within the northeast corner of the property related to a former gasoline station. The majority of the study area has not been assessed to determine if co-mingled solvent-petroleum impacts exist. Phase II and Supplemental Phase II ESA activities included the discovery of USTs, as well as removal and assessment of areas containing USTs and hydraulic lift systems. Soil impacts (potentially associated with an adjacent property were discovered above regulatory cleanup criteria. Shallow PAH impacts to soil were found in various locations of the study area above regulatory cleanup criteria. Barium was also found throughout the study area, but attributable to background materials. Groundwater impacts related to the former UST tank area near the site's east boundary are being addressed by an FDEP contractor/program.

Former Use: Historical uses have included auto sales/service, stand-alone auto repair facilities, bottling plant, auto body repair/painting, and other commercial uses.
