Additional Property Attributes

This site is on the City of East Chicago?s priority target list for redevelopment within the next 3-5 years. Redevelopment of this property is anticipated to generate additional jobs and/or public space for the community in the near term. The City of East Chicago requires funding support to conduct a Phase I of this property to prepare it for the redevelopment market.

Former Use: Western portion of the property contains railroad tracks. The eastern portion has been utilized for automobile repair and painting, manufacture and repair of pallets, adn other industrial applications. The property was also used for storage and processing of dredged contaminated sedimetns.
