Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property was pasture land from at least 1938 to at least 1956. The subject property was developed with one structure from 1960 to at least 1992. The subject property was used as a office/warehouse/light manufacturing since 1994. The structure previously located on the subject property is listed in city directories as being occupied by Frisco Sportswear, Inc. (1967 and 1970), Landlubber of Alabama, Inc. (1974, 1979, and 1984), and Hoffman M & Company, Inc. (1989). The subject property is listed in the 1999 city directory as being occupied by Quality Lubricants Incorporated. Ms. Nickey Gaston, Board Chairman for Frisco City, stated that since the property was first developed in the early 1960s, it has been occupied by various sewing plants that made nurses uniforms, hospital scrubs, etc. Ms. Gaston stated that both her parents worked at the property when it was occupied by Frisco Sportswear in the late 1960s and 1970s. She stated that the current building was constructed in 1994 for Medline Industries, who vacated the building 15 years ago.
