Additional Property Attributes

Electromagnetic Induction investigation identified an area of high conductivity but believed to be associated with only subsurface utilities; 5 RCRA metals were detected in soil but all below applicable State-Wide Standards. Therefore, no impact on the property was identified, and no additional assessment is recommended at this time. The new owner has constructed a four-story hotel. The parcel has been subdivided again for the construction of a $7.4 million entertainment complex. The facility will feature a three-screen movie theater, restaurant/bar, indoor tennis (2) and pickleball (4) courts, and golf simulators, is slated to open in late-fall 2024. More details are available at http://oskynews.org/groundbreaking-set-for-oskaloosa-entertainment-sports-complex/. Former Use: The IDNR Coal Mining Database indicates the subject property formerly included two separate mining operations circa 1900.
