Additional Property Attributes

The proposed $7,000,000 retail development is currently on hold.

Former Use: The Property was undeveloped from at least 1938 to 1963. From 1964 to approximately 2005 the Property was part of a larger parent parcel and operated as the East Lansing Department of Public Works (DPW). The Property contained pole building and several concrete/asphalt staging and storage areas. In 2011 the parent parcel was divided into two parcels: the Property and the south-adjoining site 2000 Merritt Road. East Lansing DPW operations on the Property included the storage of heavy construction equipment and trucks, vehicle maintenance and service, salt and mineral storage, and storage of fill materials.
