Additional Property Attributes

The property consists of approximately 0.13 acres and is developed with a two-story building with a half basement constructed in 1900. The property is located in the Main Street corridor in downtown Mount Vernon. Assessments conducted at the property using brownfields funding have been used to assist the Owner with renovation efforts including painting and mold remediation. The building's appearance has been improved greatly and the interior is expected to be returned into operating condition once necessary repairs have been made.

Former Use: The property consists of approximately 0.13 acres and is developed with a two-story building with a half basement constructed in 1900. The building totals approximately 6,934 square feet, and is currently unoccupied. Based on the historical research and interviews, the property was historically operated as a paint and glass shop from 1950 to 1998 and as a tin shop in 1926. Ecus Corporation (oil producer) and Quinn Energy Corporation (oil producer), were listed on the property at 212 � Main Street from 1972 to 1998. The Owen Dunn Post No.5 has owned the property since 2015.
