Area 1 is developed with a former hospital building and three unoccupied, ancillary buildings. The former hospital building is in disrepair and consists of a single story with a basement and crawl spaces. The basement contains two boilers and a steam expansion tank. The courtyard of the main building consists mainly of soil with vegetation, including large mature trees. The ancillary building, located in the southeast portion of the site. contains a diesel generator. Area 2 is undeveloped. The County of San Benito applied for a grant to conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, Lead and Asbestos Survey, and Phase II Investigation to investigate recognized environmental conditions identified in the Phase I.

Former Use: The Site is located approximately 1/2-mile south of the intersection of Union Road and Southside Road in Hollister, San Benito County, California.
