Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of an abandoned burned down school and is surrounded by single family residences. A Phase I ESA revealed the possibility of the presence of asbestos-containing material (ACM) as well as lead paint, and other universal wastes that need special disposal. Additionally, the presence of two boilers suggested a possible underground storage tank. In a Phase II ESA, some ACM was identified and universal wastes were inventoried. Leachable lead was not identified.

Former Use: This property was the Englewood School, and housed small businesses after it was discontinued as a school. Eventually it was suspected to be used as illegal living quarters. It caught on fire in December of 2014. The previous owner cannot be located.
