Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The site is located at 32�49'30.8"N 83�37'36.9"W, with the address 861 7th Street, Macon, GA 31201. . The property identification number, provided by the Macon-Bibb Tax assessor�s office, is R0081-91. The site is currently unused land, approximately 24.58 acres in size. The property is located in an industrial district in Macon, and is bounded on two sides by railroad tracks and two sides by roads. Nearby commercial properties include a rail yard and a commercial/industrial cleaning facility. There are no former roadways on site. However, the property is surrounded by a chain link fence, which has large holes in at least three discernible spots. The property has an abandoned coal loader facility, and multiple separate concrete slabs that once served as building foundations. The names of the former buildings documented on the Site Plan include: � Former Fabrication Shop � Former Office/Warehouse � Former Cab Shop � Former Blacksmith shop, and � Former Maintenance Shop Said site plan was included as Figure 1 of the 2015 Corrective Action Progress Report for the Site which was prepared by EPS.
