Additional Property Attributes

Vacant portions of the property have been redeveloped for new housing, including 93 affordable apartment units, 14 affordable townhomes, and 8 market rate condominium townhomes. Additionally, 225 market rate apartments and 5,000 sf of retail space are under construction with an anticipated completion date in late 2022 or early 2023. Former Use: Larsen Green was home to the Larsen Canning Company and Birds Eye foods for nearly 100 years. In 2007, a local Business Improvement District, On Broadway, purchased the property for redevelopment. After the recession, On Broadway struggled to redevelop the site and to prevent the site from going into foreclosure, the City took control of the property in 2015. In 2017 the City sold the property to local private developers/current owners.
