Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property is currently vacant. However, according to a review of city directories, aerial photographs, Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps and information provided by the Property contact, the Property was previously used as a church, school, convent, and residences for visiting clergy by the Catholic Diocese of Toledo since at least 1910. No evidence of current or removed underground storage tanks (USTs) such as fill ports, vent pipes, or uniform patches in pavement were observed during the Site reconnaissance. However, consultant identified two 250-gallon heating oil aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), one in each of the basements of the residences. Also identified various small containers (one to five gallons each) of household cleaners, degreasers, and/or paints in each of the Property buildings. Both ASTs and all of the containers appeared to be in good condition with no evidence of release. Asbestos containing building materials were also surveyed and would need abated prior to demolition.
