Additional Property Attributes

The 4.84 subject property is currently occupied by an automotive repair business. Historically, the subject property was used for various commercial and industrial operations since the 1950's including a gasoline dispensing station, junkyard, and plating company. Due to the history of the site, various environmental assessments have been performed at the property. During the assessments, several RECs were identified with regard to past use. Subsurface investigations identified various VOCs, metals, and cyanide in groundwater and/or soil at concentrations that exceed current generic residential cleanup criteria. These results indicate that the subject property meets the definition of a "facility" as defined in Part 201 of NREPA. Due to the facility status of the site, Envirologic completed a BEA on behalf of Ultimate Auto Repair, LLC.

Former Use: The subject property was vacant land from at least 1938 until 1950. The commercial building was constructed between 1950 and 1956 with the storage building constructed in 1997. The property was occupied by a junk yard and gasoline dispensing station from at least 1956 until the late 1960s, a plating company in the mid-1970s until the late 1980s was utilized for warehousing of tractor seats in the 1990s and early 2000s and has been vacant of occupants or utilized for storage of personal items since that time. The subject property was purchased by Ultimate Auto Repair LLC on 8-19-16 to be used for auto repair and service.
