Additional Property Attributes

The site, along with adjacent parcels, is slated to be redeveloped after completion of the adjacent Shipyard redevelopment. The Shipyard includes a multi-purpose outdoor events center located on the south side of the existing boat slip (Green Bay Western Rail Site). A mixed-use commercial/high density residential complex is also proposed north of the boat slip (Riverfront Properties). The City partnered with EPA on a reuse plan in 2020 for the South Broadway corridor, including the Ravi site. The reuse plan will guide future RFPs for redevelopment. Buildings on the site were demolished in September 2021. The demolition included asbestos abatement. Former Use: From at least the 1930s, various manufacturing businesses operated at the property. These businesses included hydraulic parts sales and services, electrical repair, sign manufacturing, and automobile and/or motorcycle repair businesses. Historically, paint spray booths, a small paint and thinner storage building, and a sand blasting building were present at the Property. The Property buildings were vacant since at least 2010 until they were demolished in September 2021.
