Former Use: Historical sources were able to document that the first developed use of the property occurred in at least 1927 with the construction of a residence in the eastern portion of the property. Between 1927 and 1940 the residence was demolished and three residences were constructed along Grady Avenue and a commercial structure identified as a dry cleaner constructed in the northwest portion along East 8th Street. The dry cleaner occupied the northwest structure from approximately 1940 until at least 1963. By 1967 the structure was occupied by Eight Street Washerette and from 1999-2003 by Eight Street Caf�The structure remained vacant until demolished approximately October 2014. The residences were demolished over a 20 year span between 1985 and 2014.
