Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I Assessment, Phase II Assessment, and Cost Estimate for Clean-Up were completed on the property. There is no petroleum contamination. Removing the Underground Storage Tanks is the only site clean-up required.

Former Use: The above named property was previously a Clark Station, listed as currently owned by Edward C Moody, who is now deceased. History of the property, compiled through the City of Canton, indicates that about 4 tanks were removed in 1971, then 3 new 7,500 gallon gasoline tanks were installed. It appears that the station was operated by Thomas Abdallah through 2006. There is no record of the tanks being removed, and OTTER lists them as still in use. The City of Canton demolished the structure on the property a few years ago. OTTER shows BUSTR last updated the records on this property on June 14, 2016, and BUSTR has d it a Class C Release site. The City of Canton has a large corridor project, going from one end of the city, along 12th Street, to the other end of the city. This property sits on a corner, within this corridor, and is in need of redevelopment.
