Additional Property Attributes

The Site has been used as a commercial space including most recently a custom telephones store and historically as a dry cleaning facility dating back to at least 1964 based on a Polk Directory review. The adjacent property (northwest) operated as a film cleaning facility and former bank (Virginia State Bank) dating back to 1949. Also to the northwest, two (2) dry cleaning facilities were noted on Polk Directories dating back to 1949. Two (2) locations to the north were noted in the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Virtual File Cabinet (VFC) as having historical underground storage tanks (USTs). One (1) location to the south was also listed in the VFC as a small quantity generator of hazardous waste (automotive stamps/dies).
