Additional Property Attributes

Dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s portions of the property were used as a residence, printing company, church and steam laundry facility. Based on the 1956 Sanborn Fire Insurance map, a filling station was located on the northern portion of the property while the steam laundry facility operated on the southern property boundary had transitioned into a printing company. A tire service station appeared on the Sanborn maps in the 1960s. The Site transitioned into parking during the early 1970�s and has remained a parking lot to date. One small attendant booth for the parking lot is located on-Site and is occupied during the day.

Former Use: The property is currently owned by the City of Indianapolis, Department of Metropolitan Development and is currently being utilized as a parking lot.
