Additional Property Attributes

The property will be for future public use. The City is soliciting public opinion on future site use, most likely developed into park or playground or other form of public use.

Former Use: Standard and other historical sources were able to document that the first developed use of the subject property occurred between 1940 and 1949 with a residential dwelling, constructed on previously vacant land. The dwelling was demolished between 1960 and 1961, when the property was redeveloped with a gasoline dispensing station. The property was occupied by a gasoline dispensing station from 1961 until 1990, and potential service operations (automotive repair/automotive recondition) in at least 1985, and the former building was demolished in 1996. The property was utilized for vehicle parking associated with the south adjoining property from 1997 until at least 2010, and has been vacant since 2015.
