Additional Property Attributes

The Property address is 1300 North 9th Street, Clinton, Vermillion County, Indiana. According to information obtained from the Vermillion County GIS website, the Property is identified as parcel number 83-13-09-140-069.000-003.

Former Use: The Property is located in an area characterized by commercial and residential land use. The eastern portion of the Property appears to have been commercial developed as early as 1921 to at least 1989; in 1998 the city directories identified the property as Dapper Pooch Salon but by 2002 there were no longer listings on the Property. The current Property is a vacant glass lot. A former Property tenant, Buels Sunoco, was identified in the IN-UST database. According to files reviewed on the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Virtual File Cabinet (VFC), the property contained two 1,000 gallon and one 2,000 gallon diesel underground storage tanks. The closure date on the three USTs was 01/01/1988. According to files reviewed on the IDEM VFC, Kanizer Excavating Company removed the three underground storage tanks for Don Gilman in 1988. No information was found in regards to soil or groundwater sampling. The following recognized environmental conditions considered to represent a likely past, present, or material threat of release in, on, or at the property were identified in association with the property during the course of this study: � The property was formerly utilized as a gasoline station from at least 1921 to 1989 and � The past land use as a gasoline station represents a potential subsurface vapor migration source to the property and the downgradient properties.
