Additional Property Attributes

A universal waste survey was completed for the former church/school and the former convent buildings and identified fluorescent light ballasts, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury containing thermostats, and/or older style exit signs that may contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in each of these buildings. Asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) within the former school/church and former convent buildings were also identified.

Former Use: The former school/church building is currently vacant; however, according to a review of city directories, aerial photographs, Sanborn Maps, and information provided by the Property contact, the former school/church building was previously used as St. Marys School and Church by the Catholic Diocese of Toledo since at least 1905 until it closed in 2005.
