Additional Property Attributes

At the time of the reconnaissance, the Property consisted of two parcels, which were approximately 4.8 acres of land developed with concrete building pads and a concrete semi-circle drive. The remainder of the Property was developed with grassy areas. The area north, northeast, southeast, south, southwest, west, and northwest of the Property was comprised of commercial and/or industrial developments. The area to the east of Market Street was primarily residential.

Former Use: The Property was developed with industrial use by the date of the earliest historical documentation. Glass manufacturing, box/fiber board/paper manufacturing, printing, steel/metals manufacturing, food manufacturing and warehousing, boiler and welding works, stove manufacturing, and plastics production were processes present at the Property at varying times from 1889 to the early 1970s. A rail line and a rail spur were present from at least 1889 to the mid-1960s on the western and eastern portions of the Property. After a period of vacancy, the Property was used for commercial operations such as furniture sales in the 1980s and 1990s and auto customizing and paint ball sports businesses in the early 2000s. A fire in 2004 and demolition of all Property buildings in 2005 marked the end of operations at the Property. The Property has remained vacant with concrete buildings pads and grassy areas since that time.
