Additional Property Attributes

This property is adjacent to the newly completed Federal Station at 60th Ave and Federal Boulevard. It was anticipated to open in the fall of 2016; however, due to delays on the A Line, the Regional Transit District cannot open new lines until the issues with the A Line are resolved. Anticipated opening is for summer 2017. This project will create the necessary housing and retail development in this area in order to maximize the transit oriented development aspects of the site and surrounding area. Former Use: The properties were used agriculturally until after 1953, when gravel mining operations began ending by 1970. The quarries were filled with landfill materials by "Adams City Dump" until 1970, when auto storage and salvage operations began on the properties. The site has operated as materials recycling since 2003.
