Additional Property Attributes

Property is an urban garden and no change in site use is proposed.

Former Use: The Property was historically used for industrial purposes including a yarn mill and the Gibbs Underwear Company. There is potential that the yarn mill and underwear factory may have used bleaches, caustics, acids, and dyes. The historical factory operations present a condition indicative of a likely release of hazardous substances. Therefore, it is our opinion that the historical on-site industrial activity is considered a REC.
