Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I completed in February 2017 identified one REC/IA associated with former gas station and service garage operations. The property was most recently used by a small retail shop for antiques and costume rentals. The property is currently vacant. The village intends to apply for additional assessment and cleanup through the state funded Abandoned Gas Station program.

Former Use: Property was commercially developed by the mid-1950s. The Property was occupied by a gas station and a small retail shop from as early as 1952 up to about 1994. The most recent on-site shop was known as Trinkets & Treasures, which included costume rentals and antiques. Three underground storage tanks, two dispenser islands and associated piping were removed from the Property in 1994 (BUSTR). The current Property owner is Nancy Lee Smith who purchased the Property in 1984.
