Additional Property Attributes

A phase I assessment was completed in March 2017. One REC/IA was identified: Former gas station and service center. Limited phase 2 assessment completed in June 2017 found low levels of TPH, PAH and VOCs (BTEX) in soil. Also 2 USTs are present at the site. The Land Bank will seek funding for tank removal and cleanup from the state funded Abandoned Gas Station Cleanup program.

Former Use: Historical research and agency records indicate that the Property was developed for commercial use as early as 1962 when the convenience store was constructed on the Property. Research indicates the Property was occupied by an active gas station and convenience store from at least 1973 through October 2011. A single service bay occupied the north end of the building from approximately 1973 to 1984. The Property went through foreclosure and was forfeited to the State of Ohio in 2016.
