Additional Property Attributes

The subject property hadhistorically been used as agricultural farm land. In 1922, Emerson A. Littlefield sold the property to the City of Sturgis to be used as a baseball field for a minor league team. Initially, only the west side of the property was used; the grandstand was constructed in the southwest corner of the property. The property has been used as a public school's ball field since the 1930s.

Former Use: Ballfields since 1922 when it was used by a minor league team. After the minor league disbanded in the 1930s, the property continued to be used as a public ballfield.
