Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I ESA was completed in June 2017. A REC was identified due to the historical presence of an above-ground diesel tank. MDEQ issued a petroleum eligibility determination on July 13, 2017. A Site Specific QAPP was approved by MDEQ and EPA in July 2017. In July �August 2017, a Phase II ESA was conducted and soil and groundwater samples were collected and analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons. Based on the analytical results, additional subsurface investigations were conducted on September 1, 2017 including the collection of additional soil and groundwater samples which were analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons. MDEQ GARD issued a NFA letter for the site on September 28, 2017. This site is located on the Back Bay of Biloxi, in an area zoned for casinos and other commercial development. Based on its locations and zoning, It is likely to be redeveloped in the near future.
