Additional Property Attributes

Property history is a former industrial/railway zone of the near downtown. Buildings have been removed, redevelopment planning of the entire corridor is in process. Cleanup activities related to the site can be addressed in conjunction with future development activities as feasible.

Former Use: The parcel is currently vacant with remnant building foundations and currently owned by the City. The property was vacated in the mid-1980's and the remaining buildings demolished in 2007. Previous use of the property includes warehousing and refrigerated storage and packaging of agricultural products. The property was developed in approximately 1943. The City of Yuma completed a site cleanup in approximately 2001.
