Additional Property Attributes

The former Plant 10 was developed in 1941, with subsequent additions in 1946, 1952, 1964, and 1965 which expanded the building to approximately 396,000 square feet. The former Plant 10 was involved in the manufacture of various automotive components such as distributor caps, ignition coils, and horns. The facility was demolished in 1992. The property is currently owned by the Anderson Redevelopment Commission (ARC).

Former Use: Past activities associated with being a GM industrial manufacturing site. An ASTM Compliant Phase I ESA was completed by Conestoga Rovers in March 2005. The Phase I ESA listed the following potential areas of release (PAOR) for the former Plant 10: plating operations, phosphating operations and a fuel oil AST.
