Additional Property Attributes

At the time of the reconnaissance, the Property consisted of approximately 4.38 acres of vacant and wooded land with asphalt and gravel paved areas located along the northeast Property boundary. Residential and agricultural developments were present to the north, east, and west of the Property. A grass recreational trail and agricultural developments adjoined the Property to the south. A representative for the Property owner indicated on the Owner Questionnaire that no utilities are present on the Property. Storm water in the area infiltrates into the ground surface or flows overland to adjoining roadways. This assessment has revealed no evidence of recognized environmental conditions in connection with the Property except for the following: The historic commercial/industrial use of the Property as a canning factory and grain elevator (Sections 3.3, 4.4.2, 6.1, 6.3, and 8.1). The historic New York Central railway line located adjacent to the southern Property boundary (Sections 4.4.3, 4.3.1, and 8.1). The unknown fill material presumed to be from the historic New York Central railway line (Sections 5.3.6 and 8.1). The historic 500-gallon diesel AST associated with the former grain elevator (Sections 3.3, 6.1, and 8.1).

Former Use: 1940 - 1960 The Property was developed with a large commercial/industrial building in the center of the Property. The western portion of the Property appeared to be developed with agricultural use, and the eastern portion of the Property appeared to be an undeveloped wooded lot with a gravel drive. 1976 - 1998 The large building formerly located in the center of the Property appears to have been razed, and a grain elevator operation is depicted in the eastern portion of the Property. The western portion of the Property still primarily appeared to be developed with agricultural use. 2006 - 2016 The grain elevator structures appear to have been razed, and the Property appeared vacant. A wooded area appears to have developed in the southwestern portion of the Property.
