Additional Property Attributes

This property is owned by the City and County of Denver. Only a small portion of the property is used by the City as a stormwater pump station. The brownfields grant is funding an area wide plan of the property to determine potential redevelopment as a multi-story light industrial building. The city has not made a decision on moving forward with the proposed area wide plan developer, but in the interim has leased the property to a local non-profit to house a tiny home village for people experiencing homelessness. Former Use: The property is currently owned by the City and County of Denver to house a stormwater pump house which only utilizes a small portion of the site. Past uses were predominately industrial uses. The property is adjacent to a large railroad switch yard and may have been impacted by railroad operations, in particular rail oilers that immediately adjacent and uphill from the property.
