Property Highlights

No RECs identified in the Phase I ESA. Phase II ESA identified asbestos in building materials. Information will be used for abatement planning during renovation of affordable housing.

Former Use: The Property is owned by the Salem Housing Authority. Historical records indicate the Property was in agricultural use by 1925. A 1936 aerial photo indicated no orchards or other high value crops were present on the Property. The Property was in primarily single-family residential use from approximately 1948 through approximately 1970. The present-day multi-family buildings were built in 1972, except for the community building/office which was built in 1999. The Property buildings were occupied at the time of the site reconnaissance.
