Additional Property Attributes

This old school house, designed by Temple Buell, a famous local architect, was on the demolition list of Jefferson County Schools. The Wheat Ridge Housing Authority spent $1,000,000 to purchase it and put it up for redevelopment. The school house will be converted to 16 apartments, 5 of which will be affordable housing. Planned opening is October 2017.

Former Use: Property is a historic elementary school previously owned by Jefferson County.
