Additional Property Attributes

A geophysical survey and petroleum release detection sampling in soil and groundwater was conducted in August 2017. Analytical results indicate a release of BTEX and TPH in soil exceeding BUSTR action levels; VOC's in groundwater (benzene) exceeds BUSTR action levels; The city of Portsmouth plans to request state funding through the Abandoned Gas Station program for UST removal and cleanup.

Former Use: Information provided within the Phase I ESA conducted march 3, 2017, stated the Property operated as a gasoline station from 1950 to approximately 2008 with four 4,000-gallon gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs). During the Phase I ESA no documentation of UST removal was found through review of various regulatory files and databases.
