Additional Property Attributes

The Citys investment of $15,750 of its USEPA Coalition Assessment dollars is helping to characterize a 400 acre property recently acquired by The Nature Conservancy (TNC). TNC, in perhaps its largest inland restoration project ever, is transforming the property with a system of wetlands and other features to help mitigate area flooding and substantially reduce the contaminant loading within the watershed. TNCs investment leveraged in part by Toledos USEPA funding - is anticipated to be on the order of $5M.
