Additional Property Attributes

The subject site was recorded as PIN numbers 3850-1443-0316 and 3850-1443-1106 (Parcels 1 and 2 respectively). Parcel 1 is an undeveloped vacant lot used for local parking and Parcel 2 is developed with two structures. A 22,225 square-foot building constructed around 1955 is used for the operations and storage of Howell Fabrication. A 1,380 square-foot building is located at the southern tip of Parcel 2 and is currently used as storage for a neighboring power washing business. The subject site is approximately 1.05 acres.

Based on historical information and review of Sanborn� Maps, Parcel 2 was developed between 1917 and 1923 when the site was used as the Carolina Building Supply Company. Parcel 1 was developed between 1923 and 1949 when both parcels were occupied by the W.B. Lea Tobacco Company Inc. In 1969, Parcel 2 was repurposed as a textile weaving facility while Parcel 1 continued operations with the W.B. Lea Tobacco Company. Howell Fabrication took over operations at the subject site sometime around 1990 and has occupied the 22,225 square-foot building since.
