Additional Property Attributes

Site is now to be used as a parking area for the adjacent Blanchard Block, a redeveloped, multi floor commercial building which was also a brownfields property. Private parking for the Blanchard Block is expected to attract/leverage a large tenant to occupy a floor of the Blanchard Building.

Former Use: Site is adjacent to a railroad corridor. Site housed a building holding a fire engine and jail. Stevens Branch river corridor passed through site and was moved circa 1911. Most recently, site operated as a retail store selling hardware, grains, feed, paints, and oil. The Bonacorsi property (16 Prospect Street), a former dry cleaners, is hydraulically down gradient from the site.
