Former Use: The site consists of approximately 0.93-acre of unoccupied commercial land located at 1100 N. Main Street in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. The site is identified by Duval County Property Appraiser as RE# 070797-0000. The site is currently developed with three buildings including a 12,394-square foot retail store/warehouse, a two-story 1,900-sqaure foot warehouse, and a 2,800-square foot garage. Additional improvements to the site include utilities, a concrete driveway, and a concrete parking area. Historical sources reviewed as part of this assessment indicate that the site and west adjoining property were occupied by Downtown Oldsmobile, Inc. from the mid-1940s to the early 1970s, after which Earl Horne, Inc. acquired the site. Former site operations included automobile service and repair and a retail janitorial supply warehouse operated by Earl Horne, Inc.
