Additional Property Attributes

A phase I assessment was conducted; 6 RECS/IA's were identified in the report including historical operations of auto repair, fuel storage and dispensing; onsite UST; former dumping of petroleum/haz subs in on-site well; service pit; former hydraulic lift; groundwater plume from offsite sources; historic REC for former onsite USTs; The city of Riverside may take ownership of the site thru foreclosure; add'l assessment and cleanup funding will be pursued thru the state's Abandoned Gas Station program

Former Use: The onsite structure was constructed in 1925 and used as an auto garage/auto body shop from at least 1961 until mid- 2017. The Subject Property is not currently in use. The building burned down on March 24, 2017. Remaining portions of the structure were subsequently razed however debris from this fire remains onsite. The property is currently owned by Mr. Farris Sparks, who is, according to the city of Riverside, deceased.
