Additional Property Attributes

The Lake County Land Bank requested assistance performing an Ohio VAP/AAI compliant phase I assessment. The Phase I identified 2 REC/IA's: 1-former gas station/service garage and 2-off-site concern from dry cleaner. Limited Ph2 sampling results indicate a release of petroleum based contaminants including BTEX, TPH and napthalene. Only napthalene exceeded BUSTR action levels. The Land Bank took ownership of the property through foreclosure following Phase 2 investigation and submitted an application to the state's abandoned gas station program for cleanup.

Former Use: The property was first developed for commercial use approximatley 1962 as a filling station and auto service garage which was converted to a convenience store about 1980. Filling station operations continued until about 2007; the property entered foreclosure in April 2017; The Lake County Land Bank took ownership in Feb 2018
