Additional Property Attributes

? Range 1 Soil: Eleven (11) PAHs and three (3) RCRA metals detected in Range 1 soil. Results from the collected samples identified all detected concentrations below SWSs. The maximum values for each detected compound were put into the Calculator. ? Range 2 Soil: Twelve (12) PAHs and four (4) RCRA metals detected in Range 2 soil. Results from the collected samples identified all detected concentrations below SWSs with the exception of four (4) PAHs that were detected above SWSs. The maximum values for each detected compound were put into the Calculator. ? Groundwater: Two (2) PAHs, five (5) VOCs, and two (2) RCRA metals detected in groundwater results identified all detected concentrations below applicable SWSs. The MDLs and resulting non-detect values for five (5) VOCs are above their respective SWS and as such have been included in this calculation. All detected and non-detect values above their corresponding SWS were put into the Calculator. ? Vapor Intrusion: Four (4) compounds detected in groundwater are sufficiently volatile and toxic to present a vapor intrusion risk. Groundwater results for three (3) of these compounds were evaluated using the Johnson and Ettinger Vapor Intrusion Model for Forward Calculation of Indoor Air Concentration and the IDNR Cumulative Risk Calculator. One (1) compound is not available in the Johnson & Ettinger Vapor Model and as such it was not included in this calculation. The calculated results for this media indicate that vapor intrusion alone does not pose a risk on this site. All cancer and non-cancer health risks for site receptors are acceptable based on the findings in this report. IDNR issued a letter dated October 10, 2018 that stated "it is the determination of the Iowa DNR that based on the data provided the site does not pose a significant risk to public health or the environment and no further assessment is required. Please note that the Iowa DNR may require further assessment in the future if additional assessment data warrant reopening the site."
