Additional Property Attributes

At the time of the site reconnaissance, the Property consisted of approximately 1.3 acres of land. A gravel-covered lot is located on the northwest portion of the Property with an area of overgrown vegetation located along a portion of the west Property boundary. The southeast portion of the Property consisted of an undeveloped, grass-covered lot. Residential developments are located to the north and west. Commercial developments are located to the east and south. The Property is served by the following utility companies: Duke Energy for electrical service, Vectren for natural gas and the City of Loogootee Utilities for water, sanitary services and storm water services. Storm water in the area infiltrates into the ground surface or flows overland to adjoining roadways.

Former Use: From 1937 to 1958, the Property was developed as an agricultural field. In 1970, the Property continued to be primarily developed as an agricultural field. An unidentified structure appeared at the northwest corner of the Property. The ground surface of the north parcel appeared to be lighter in color suggesting disturbed soil or a gravel-covered area. In 1976, the northwest structure had been razed. In 1998, two structures appeared at the west end of the gravel-covered area that was being utilized as a parking lot. In 2003, the two structures had been razed and the southeast portion of the Property appeared as disturbed soil. In 2010, the area of disturbed soil appeared to be a garden and in 2016, it appeared to be grass-covered.
