Property ? Historical dry-cleaning operations at the Property from approximately 1960 to 2001 resulting in a release of tetrachloroethylene (PCE) to the environment above state soil and groundwater remediation ives. ? Levels of arsenic, cadmium, and chromium above state remediation ives were identified in the Property?s groundwater.

Former Use: 3.1 Location and Legal Description The Property consists of a rectangular-shaped parcel of land encompassing approximately 0.15-acres. The Property is located on the east side of North Vermilion Street. The common address for the Property is 817 North Vermilion Street, Danville, Illinois 61832. The Property is identified by assessor parcel 23-05-401-004. 3.2 Site and Vicinity General Characteristics The Property is located in a commercial setting in Danville, Vermilion County, Illinois. The Property is surrounded to the north by a bank; to the east by a vacant parcel; to the south by a vacant multi-tenant residential structure; and to the west by a retail pharmacy. North Vermilion Street is situated west of the Property and East Fairchild Street is situated approximately 100 feet north of the Property. Stoney Creek is located approximately 1/3 mile to the east, and the North Fork of the Vermilion River is located approximately 1 mile to the west. 3.3 Current Use of the Property The Property is currently vacant. 3.4 Description of Site Structures, Roads, and Improvements The Property is currently vacant, but was formerly developed with a 5,500 square foot commercial building. The building has been demolished, with the concrete slab and footings remaining in place. The remaining grounds consist of cracked concrete pavement.

Phase II ESA work and cleanup planning completed with Site Investigation Report submitted to the IEPA SRP in July 2022. Site is contaminated with chlorinated solvents from former drycleaning operations. Solvents have been identified in soil and groundwater on the property and extending offsite to the south, north, and east adjoining sites.
