Redevelopment plans for the property have been prepared by Cushman Design Group and Horizons Engineering. The plans include renovating the existing store building for continued use as a general store, installing a new septic system, new foundation drain, and new accessway/parking. Former Use: The site was a former general store and fueling station. A Phase I Brownfields ESA was completed for the property and it identified several Recognized RECs and recommended further environmental investigations for the property, including: The use of the property as a filling station with underground storage tanks (USTs); The potential for hazardous materials to have leached into the shallow soil as a result of the historical fires on the property; The potential for elevated lead levels in shallow soil from the exterior paint on the shop building. Redevelopment plans for the property have been prepared by Cushman Design Group and Horizons Engineering. No new building structures are planned. The plans include renovating the existing store building for continued use as a general store, installing a new septic system, new foundation drain, and new accessway/parking.
