Additional Property Attributes

According to the Phase 1 report, 3 RECs/IAs are present at the site including USTs, former garage/service stations/paint shop and former railroad tracks and adjacent oil/gas operations Following foreclosure proceedings, the village intends to request funding through the state Abandoned Gas Station program for additional assessment and cleanup.

Former Use: first commercial/industrial use of the Property in approximately 1909, when a dental office and a general store occupied the Property. By 1916, an automotive garage was present on the Property, followed by a series of dealership service centers and/or gas stations, which occupied the Property until 1980. BUSTR file, which includes a previous environmental report documenting the removal of three underground storage tanks from the west side of the Property in 1991. BUSTR has designated the site as a Class C release related to a documented petroleum release associated with the three removed underground storage tanks. Current owner is the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie#3657 - the site will likely go thru foreclosure as the site is abandoned; previous owners include Mr Lloyd McCandlish from 1980 to 1993 and Westerman Realty Co Inc from 1980 to 1992; The Penn Central Coporation (rail) owned parcel ending in 810 from about 1979 to 1980
