Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Subject Property is on approximately 37 acres of land, and is one contiguous parcel. There are nine buildings on the property, which surround a central grass field. The buildings are contained within a high security chain link fence, and are connected by a walking path. The facility is accessed via a two-lane road identified as Youth Center Street, which intersects with LA Highway 70. The road leads to the main concrete-paved parking lot, as well as the guard house and entrance gate. The northern portion of the property, behind the detention center area, consists of a sugar cane field. Agricultural fields also border the property to the north and west, while a pond lies on the property southeast of the Subject Property. The highway is to the south, and is lined with commercial and industrial facilities, primarily gas stations, repair centers, and manufacturing facilities.
